Meet Eric Alejandro our January ‘Athlete Spotlight Of The Month’

One door closes, or another year passes and another door opens… when hard work really does pay off! Happy 2015, Meet Eric Alejandro our January “Athlete Spotlight Of The Month.”

Currently training at The Chamber, where we are honored to also have him employed as our Speed Performance Specialist, Eric attended Eastern Michigan University on a full athletic Scholarship for track and field. He is a London 2012 Olympic Sprinter in the 400–meter hurdles discipline. He has over 13 years of experience and gained knowledge at a young age through Tony Ross, son of the Hall of Fame Hurdling coach Wilbur Ross, and currently Tony Dees, Olympic silver medalist in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. His work ethic and knowledge of the sport carried him to the Olympic semi-finals and World Championship semi-finals. Throughout his career Eric has learned the fundamentals of speed and what it takes to become a World-class athlete. Training alongside former World champions and current World-ranked athletes, Eric is able to understand and relate to any athlete for the need of speed in their specific sport, which makes him a valuable asset to The Chamber. With the drive and passion to help others succeed, he comes with the highest ranking from those who have trained with him. Speed always wins!

Presently, Eric is gearing up for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, officially known as the Games of XXXI Olympiad and as Rio 2016. The games will open on August 5th. Click here to find out more 2016 Summer Olympics!
