Meet Eugenie “Genie” Bouchard, our ‘Athlete Spotlight’
Advancing into October with great stride as the 6th ranked female tennis player in the world trains at The Chamber.
Raised in Canada, Genie Bouchard was born there February 25th, 1994. She became the first Canadian to reach the finals of a Grand Slam in singles, finishing runner-up to Petra Kvitová, this year at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships. Bouchard also reached the semifinals of the 2014 Australian Open and 2014 French Open and won the 2012 Wimbledon girls’ title. Following the end of the 2013 WTA, Genie was named WTA Newcomer of the Year. She is currently ranked 6th in the world.
