Meet Jaida Scott, our ‘Athlete Spotlight’
Jaida began playing soccer at age 5 and decided to take part in travel soccer by the age of 8. She was trained by her father initially, and then went on to be trained by Johnny and Billy Ramos of the Plantation Eagles Soccer Club, where she trained for 6 years. Scott was chosen for the Olympic Development Team at age 11 and has represented the state of Florida for ODP ever since. This past July, Jaida made the regional team as one of the best players in the southeastern region of the United States. Jaida carries a 3.95 GPA at American Heritage School in Plantation and understands the balance necessary to keep up good grades and play sports.
The Chamber is proud to have Jaida Scott involved in our Youth Training Programs. Jaida’s performance, both on-and-off the field, exemplifies the strive for excellence that we pride ourselves in helping all of our young athletes establish. The Chamber’s Youth Training Programs are catered to specific age groups and our goal is to provide early exposure to scientifically sound training protocols that will assist in the development of healthy, competent youth athletes.
