Director of Performance

To date, Chris Chambers is known as one of the best multi-sports athletes in Ohio history. He received a scholarship to play both basketball and football at the University of Wisconsin. As a Badger, he helped lead the team to two Big Ten Championships and two Rose Bowl Championships, and was named team MVP in 2000. The Miami Dolphins selected Chris in the NFL’s 2001 Draft and he went on to be the team’s Rookie of the Year. In ‘05, Chris experienced his best season and was named the Dolphin’s team MVP and was selected to his first Pro Bowl. In 2007, Chris was traded to the San Diego Chargers where he helped the team reach the AFC Championship game and in ‘09 Chris signed to play for the Kansas City Chiefs to help lead a young team to the franchises 1st playoff appearance in over ten years.  He retired from the league in 2011.

Chris is now the owner and CEO of Chamber Fitness, LLC and Martial Arts Athletics, LLC.  Chamber Football Academy launched in 2015 where he directs and oversee all programs that include NFL Pro Training,  NFL Combine Training, NFL Hopeful Training,  Youth Football Leagues, Youth and HS Football Camps.  He also runs his Foundation C.A.T.C.H. (Children Achieving Through Community Help) 84 through the facility.  Chris Chambers vision is to have several Chamber Fitness Facilities in the South Florida area and beyond.

Assistant Director of Performance Specialist

Charlie Schlott recently graduated with a Masters in Exercise Physiology. He played collegiate soccer and has an extensive background in the field of strength and conditioning and performance training. Charlie has a wide range of experience from working with novice youth athletes to distinguished professionals. He currently oversees the adult fitness and performance clients while servicing the in-house soccer accounts. He aspires to assist people in reaching their full potential and making a true impact on the field of Exercise Science. “What are you going to do with this opportunity called life?”.

Joshua “JT” Thompson

Performance Speed Specialist

JT, a former Division 1 collegiate student-athlete from Louisiana. A graduate from The University of Louisiana at Monroe. As a member of the football team, achieving numerous awards led JT to gain experience in the NFL, CFL and AFL football leagues as a Defense Back.
Relocating to South Florida a few years ago to become Director of Sports Performance for World Class Speed Inc. A company  owned by Patrick Peterson the 5th overall pick of the Arizona Cardinals.
In 2011, JT partnered his program with Test Football Academy and The Athletes Edge to help prepare a combine class of elite athletes some such as Patrick Peterson(Ari), Stevan Ridley(NE) and Derek Newton(Hou). Some post year Future NFL Draft Picks of his include 2012 Akiem Hicks(N.O) and 2013 Tyrann Mathieu(Ari). Other Notable vets he’s work with include Tyrone Carter(Pitt), Clint Session(Jac), Bryant McFadden(Pitt), and Abe Elam(KC). JT also served as the Speed & Combine Drill Training Coordinator for The Broward County Athletic Association (BCAA) for 3 years.
Prior to Florida, JT worked with numerous athletes at Competitive Edge Sports in Atlanta,Ga. In which then led him to become the Director of Performance of Competitive Edge Sports-Louisiana. Which include some athletes such as Kyle Williams(Buff), Rueben Randle(NYG), Mike Williams(Sea).
Utilizing his experiences JT is now the founder of JT’s Sports Performance, LLC. So far, he has trained many Pro to Amuteur athletes and some of the top high school teams around at an elite level in All Sports.

Cortney Lester, a graduate from University of Buffalo majoring in Health and Wellness is The Chambers newest recruit. Originally a Chamber athlete, his leadership skills on the floor amongst his peers immediately caught the attention of Chris and the coaching staff. Cortney was Captain, a 4 year starter on the football program and ranked 2nd in school history.

Cortney oversees a lot of the speed development in house, while assisting with most in-house strength and conditioning sessions. He has proved a huge asset in house and continues to develop and evolve his skill sets. Jacksonville Jaguars loss is definitely The Chambers gain.
